Tiger Woods ’sightings have been a bit rare in 2020, but every time there’s a major champion on the line, you can count on the 15-time major champion to make his appearance.
Woods has has won three US Opens (2000, 2002, 2008) and did not miss the cut only three times in this image. He played in two major teams at Winged Foot, the site of this weekend’s tournament, finishing T29 in the 1997 PGA Championship and missing the cut at the 2006 US Open.
Despite the Masters victory in 2019, Woods has struggled since his return to the Tour after the pandemic break. In four events he didn’t finish better than 37th in the PGA Championship, 12 strokes behind the winner.
