The Nets add another veteran with a postseason pedigree.
Free agent striker Jeff Green agreed to a deal with Brooklyn on Saturday, according to The Athletic. The 34-year-old striker averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 rebounds between Houston and Utah last season, and was part of the Cavaliers run to the NBA Finals in 2017-18. Green played with Nets star Kevin Durant for three seasons with the Supersonics and Thunder.
The Nets seem to be contending for the title this season with Durant and Kyrie Irving, and Green is another piece of reliable depth.
