I didn’t even need legs!
A cat stranded in a burning apartment in Harlem he made an incredible leap of faith out the window to the officers below, watching video shows of hair
Aaron Ganaway recorded the orange tabby – which appeared half black from the fire – on the second-floor frame of the building at East 135th Street and Fifth Avenue Saturday night, NBC New York reported.
As the fire approached, the brave feline tried to lower the side of the building before it finally abandoned – strictly missing officers on the ground trying to capture him, the video shows.
Fortunately, the cat survived the fall and was taken to a local animal shelter, where it was treated for smoke inhalation, the shop said.
Seven people, including two police officers, were injured in the fire started by an unidentified man who was not living in the building, police said.
Police said the man locked himself in a second-floor unit and lit fire when they showed up to enforce a restraining order.
It is unclear if the charges were filed in connection with the hell.
