While discussing the NXT Women’s Championship match, Nightmare revealed that she was lost after her loss. Charlotte Flair to the biggest show of the year.
When Lillian Garcia asked what happened after the loss of Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley said:
“I’m not too sure. I felt like (the wind was blowing away). I felt like I was going through a stage where I was losing confidence in myself because I wasn’t being portrayed the same way. Even now, I’m still flat. slowly building me back from there. My confidence has been tarnished a bit, which is funny because I try to keep up and do my best all the time.I don’t know if it was something in my head that wasn’t getting the picture, I have just lost a little later. Now, I feel like I’m back on track. The construction of myself has been hard, it’s been hard, but I’ve found my track now and I’m “I’m back”.
When asked about how she can gain her confidence after the unfortunate loss, Rhea Ripley replied:
“I’ve been watching games from NXT UK, from the Shayna collection, and I have to remember who I am because I forgot who I was for a while and I hate forgetting who I am because it makes me feel like the first Mae Young Classic when I was lost. I like being me and I’m portraying myself in a certain way. So I went back and looked at the old things and said, “Here’s how I acted, that’s what I have to do now. ‘I’ve been helped.’
