Dozens of National Guard troops defending the Capitol fell ill after eating the food, with a member of the Michigan Guard saying they found raw beef and metal scales.
“Yesterday, for example, there were 74 different dishes found with raw meat in them,” the sergeant told WXYZ station, sharing images of meat that looked completely raw in between.
“Just … the soldiers had found metal scratches in their food.”
