The first group of Ranking of the College Football Playoff were revealed Tuesday.
The top three teams were No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Notre Dame and – perhaps surprisingly – a loss, third-placed Clemson. Undefeated Ohio State grabbed the top four, with Florida, Texas A&M and Cincinnati all landing at an extraordinary distance from the final four teams.
NO LONGER: Week 13 bowl screenings
The College Football Playoff standings will be released every Tuesday before the conference championship weekend, and the final standings will be revealed on December 20th.
The semifinals of this season’s College Football Playoff are Jan. 1 at the Rose Bowl Game and Sugar Bowl. The Playoff championship game will be held Jan. 11 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
