A thief smashed the window of a Brooklyn mac and cheese restaurant and collapsed inside during a raid this week, a new video shows.
The suspect threw an unknown object at Mac Shack’s front window on Fulton Street near Clinton Avenue in Clinton Hill around 5:30 a.m. Monday and leaned against the broken glass to force his way in, a surveillance video released late Tuesday shows.
He spent a few seconds in the restaurant, grabbing a cash register, holding about $ 245, police said.
The video shows him carrying the box as he jumps from the manger through the broken glass.
He left, heading west toward Fulton Street and then north on Vanderbilt Avenue, police said.
